Last Day for Paper Checks

As we move towards a paperless environment we will be changing some processes regarding payroll. We encourage all employees to participate in direct deposit, not only is it more environmentally friendly but it is also the fastest and easiest way to get your pay! If you don't have direct deposit your check will be mailed starting pay date 5/7, but please check with the payroll department to make sure they have your correct mailing information.

As many of you know the HR department is conducting a bi-annual questionnaire. This will give you the opportunity to express any questions or concerns you may have and allow us to make Power Windows a better work environment for everyone.

Thank you Power Windows and Siding employees. Because of you we were ranked the #2 Best Place to Work among medium size companies in the Philadelphia region. It is only a matter of time until we are ranked #1 among large companies in the region and even the country. We had 133 employees respond to the surveys, giving us an 89% response rate, the best of all companies surveyed.

In addition, of the 34,616 people surveyed in the region Power Windows' top management ranked the highest when asked about the confidence employees have in the leaders of their organization. As a result, Jeff Kaliner, CEO, was asked to participate in a round table discussion with other top leaders in the region. Jeff and the others discussed what it takes to have a successful company and more importantly, happy employees in such a poor economy.
